What is MCP.Scientio.Com?

MCP.Scientio.Com is an HTTP-based Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. It exposes a rich set of tools that AI agents and LLM clients (such as Claude Desktop or custom automation agents) can call to interact with knowledge bases, perform semantic search, explore knowledge graphs, and hold multi-turn conversations backed by your own content.

Knowledge Bases

Create, manage and query private or shared knowledge bases. Each KBase stores chunked, embedded documents for RAG retrieval.

Semantic Search

Knowledge graph-enhanced narrow search returns the most relevant context passages, disambiguated by the LLM before retrieval.

Knowledge Graphs

Explore entity relationships and semantic structure automatically extracted and maintained as content is indexed.

Conversational Chat

Multi-turn conversations with any knowledge base, with history preserved server-side in Redis across multiple agent calls.

Content Management

Add, delete, and list text content or live web pages. Content is automatically chunked, embedded, and indexed for retrieval.

Secure & Authorized

Every tool call is protected by token-based authorization. The system user token is verified per request via Redis-backed session lookup.

Getting an API key

Access to the MCP server requires an API key, sent with every request in the X-Api-Key header. Registration is free for the first 30 days; after the trial a subscription is payable via Stripe. Register with your email address, confirm it by clicking the link we send you, and your key is shown immediately — you can generate a replacement key at any time.

Pricing

Once your first 30 days are up, or your free usage is used up, the service is pay as you go. You are billed only for the MCP usage seconds you consume, which fairly represents the work done for you. There are no other charges, no minimums and no subscriptions to commit to — and you can cancel your account at any time without penalty.

Each tool is described in detail — what it does, its parameters and what it returns — in the MCP tool documentation, where you can also try the non-destructive tools with your API key. To see a knowledge base for yourself, open the KBase viewer: it draws the knowledge graph and lets you chat with the knowledge base, using these tools alone.
